			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What is better on a hot day than cold watermelon?  How about watermelon sherbet?!  This recipe calls for only a few basic ingredients and is really easy to make!  Get the kids involved and they will be making it all summer long!</p>

<p>3/4 cup sugar<br />
3/4 cup water<br />
Juice of 1 lime<br />
Pinch of salt<br />
6 cups of watermelon, seeded</p>
<p>1.  In a small pot, place water and sugar, simmering just until the sugar dissolves.  Set aside to cool.  Meanwhile, stir together the lime juice and salt.</p>
<p>2.  In a food processor, puree the watermelon.  In large bowl, combine the watermelon, sugar-water, and lime juice.  </p>
<p>3.  If you have an ice cream maker, place inside and make according to directions.  If not, place in metal mixing bowl or metal pan and place in freezer, mixing every 45 minutes.  Once done, store in freezer in airtight container.</p>
<p>TIPS:  Top with fresh fruit!</p>
